Dexter Day is a Kentucky-based artist who brings quiet beauty to everyday moments through hand-drawn illustration. Working primarily in pencil, marker, and ink, Dexter creates artwork inspired by nature, faith, and the peaceful details often overlooked in daily life.
As a design engineer and a member of the C3C team, Dexter combines technical precision with artistic expression—transforming simple ideas into meaningful, tangible pieces. Each design reflects a desire to bring encouragement, clarity, and calm into the spaces where people live and work.
Through Drawings By Daylight, Dexter’s work invites a shift in focus—from noise to stillness, from distraction to reflection, and from ordinary moments to something deeper.
One of Dexter’s most personal works was inspired by time spent with family in the Smoky Mountains, where he created a sketch of the mountain view as a wedding gift—capturing both the landscape and a meaningful moment shared with loved ones.
