This hinge filler saves time by eliminating the need to wait for several layers of putty to dry. Because it fills the recess directly, it helps maintain a square, consistent edge and provides a solid base for a clean, professional-looking repair once painted.

These hinge fillers are designed for specific hinge sizes and are listed by size in inches (Length × Width × Thickness). To choose the correct size, simply measure the recessed hinge cavity after hinge removal and select the closest matching size.

The actual size of each filler is slightly smaller than the listed dimensions to ensure proper fit within the recessed area.

To install, we recommend using a standard wood glue to affix the hinge filler inside the mortise. While wood glue is not specifically designed for plastic, it works well for this application since minimal strength is required.

Once installed, fill any remaining gaps with standard drywall spackle, sand smooth with fine‑grit sandpaper, and paint as desired.
